A month.
What a month. Our Audrey’s first month. Lots of adjustment, or re-adjustment. Baby stuff. Feedings and sleep and grunts and groans. And that is all from mommy! =)
Our new special one is doing quite well. At her 10 day checkup, she had regained all her baby weight loss since coming home and sprouted another 3″ in length. As of today, she has gained more weight and her color is coming in nicely. She’s got a little routine, which of course doesn’t match either mommy or brothers. So little sleep is had by mommy.
With Audrey’s arrival, the boys are learning and growing too. Ethan had his first tooth come out her first week home. Not to be outdone, Owen had a little accident with some hot chocolate that drew attention back to him for a few hours. All is well, but what a ride. Poor Lydia.
We’ve also been back in California for a year now. That’s some crazy by itself.
